Transfers

Transfers into the program (into year two and beyond) are permitted as long as the prerequisite courses or articulated courses are completed and there is space available in the program. Acceptance of transfers into the program will be based upon GPA, with priority given to those with the highest GPA. Only transfer courses used in meeting degree requirements will be used in the calculation of GPA and CGPA for continuance, progression and graduation. Regardless of the articulated courses transferred, students must complete a minimum of 90 credits combined at UNBC or UBC, of which at least 30 credits must be completed at each of UNBC and UBC.

Current first-year UBC Engineering students who are interested in transferring to the ENVE program should select Environmental Engineering for your second year placement and apply directly to UNBC.

Please note:

  • For general applicants, if the application deadline at UNBC has passed, applications will still be accepted if space is available.
  • The UNBC/UBC Joint Environmental Engineering BASc Program option requires you to move to Prince George for at least your 2nd year (2 terms) and the 5th year (one term) of the program.
